Carrie Schneider (b.1979 Chicago, based Chicago) earned her Master of Fine Arts from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2007. Upon
graduating, she attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture
and the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki as a Fulbright Fellow.
Recent exhibitions include the Third Azerbaijan Biennial in Baku, Gallery
44 in Toronto, Monique Meloche Gallery, Chicago, and Galleri KiT at the
Academy of Fine Art in Trondheim, Norway. Currently she’s a resident
artist at the Helsinki International Artist-in-residence Programme, and
has an exhibition at the Finnish Museum of Photography through 24 May
2009.
