Dear members of the YOK!
We in the board have pondered for a while to make our own student overalls patch, and in order for this to succeed we’ll need you, so we have initiated an open design competition for our members!
The patch should represent Ylioppilaskamerat and its community. The patch should also have some room for our logo.
=Instructions for submitting your entry=
You can submit your entry either via email, by visiting our office at reservation times or putting your entry into our mailbox (either bring it yourself or send by mail).
If you want to submit your entry via email:
Please have “Patch competition / Your name” as your subject line, accompanied with a PDF file or a good-quality picture of your design as an attachment.
If you want to submit your entry by visiting our office:
Please place your entry within an envelope or fold it by the middle and write “Patch competition / Your name” on it. You can then return your entry during our reservation times (Mondays at 7.00 -7.30 p.m.)
If you want to submit your entry via our mailbox:
Either drop your entry into our mailbox located near the darkroom or mail it to the following address:
Hietanimenkatu 14A, 00100 Helsinki
Please include your name on the back of your entry or on a separate sheet of paper.
The deadline for entries is on March 31st (March 30th for the office) after which the judges will pick the winner. The winning entry is published on April 27th.
=What the winner gets?=
The best entry is rewarded with a 30 euro gift card for our organisation and it can be used for activities within the YOK (paying courses, equipment rent, darkroom stickers, studio time etc.) and a overall patch based on the design!
